10 minute ab challenge

This 15 minute abs workout will challenge your core muscles, whilst burning extra calories. However, the hard truth is, no amount of crunching or planking alone will burn tummy fat. Generally you must have an overall low enough body fat percentage to visibly define your abs, which is accomplished with an effective diet and exercise regime.

But don’t let that put you off performing abs exercises. The hard work you put into training them now means they will look even more defined when you have finished with your diet! Also, the strong core you will develop helps to maintain good posture and can alleviate lower back pain.

The Rules:

  • 30 seconds exercise
  • 10 seconds rest

The Workout:

  1. Sit ups
  2. Flutter kicks
  3. Leg raises
  4. Alternate toe touches
  5. Plank press
  6. Side plank
  7. Alternate heel touch
