The last thing you probably think you can eat on a diet is a greasy burger. Lucky for you, we’re sharing our go to, low calorie turkey burger recipe that is both tasty and high in protein. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Ingredients:
- 400g extra lean turkey/beef mince
- 5 spring onions, finely chopped
- 140g finely grated carrot
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp chopped tarragon
- 1 medium egg, beaten
- 4 wholemeal bread rolls, split in half
- 1 Calorie cooking spray (5 sprays)
Method:
- Add the mince into a bowl with the spring onions, grated carrot, garlic, mustard, tarragon and egg, and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Divide the mixture into 4. Flatten each piece with your hands, about 2cm thick. Wrap in cling film and leave in fridge for about 30 mins.
- Heat 1 calorie cooking spray in a frying pan. Add burgers and heat until cooked through.
- Add to bun, and serve
